QUESTION

Am I entitled to my remaining work pay?

Asked on May 13th, 2016 on Labor and Employment - Ohio
More details to this question:
I provided my employer with a notice to vacate position; which was accepted. They asked me to leave three days earlier than what was originally scheduled, because I had finished tying up loose ends and they had found my replacement. I was under the assumption I was going to get paid for those days, but low and behold, I did not. Is there any legal recourse for me to obtain the money, or are they in the right?

Not unless you are salary. Even then, they would probably argue against it. An employer does not have to pay an employee for all of the two weeks once they give their notice unless the employee works the entire time.   Ohio employment attorney www.mcoffmanlegal.com
