Asked on Aug 25th, 2011 on Labor and Employment - Ohio
More details to this question:
I work as a residential house manager at a sober living and treatment center. I have a daily rate and I work 24 hour shifts all in a row. I never get breaks 3 out of the 5 days, I have to be with clients all day. I have been given a raise and I cook too. No one works with me on 3 days.

There are federal laws pertaining to work hours and they address: federal minimum wage, overtime pay, recordkeeping and child labor. There are several difference rules and regulations which may apply and you may want to call an attorney to see if your position falls within the scope of these regulations.
