QUESTION

can i be fired for defending my self from an attacker while i was at work.

More details to this question:
I was attacked at work on 07-20-2015 by an co-worker.I was struck in the head and had to get ten stapples.I got stapples removed on 07-28-2015.I called work and told them I was able to come back but the plant manager said I was just terminated that day.

Yes, you can be fired for any reason.  If the reason was unlawful, you may be able to file a claim.  For example, if you were fired for getting workers compensation medical treatment.  Or, if the other employee was not fired, and s/he was of a different race, color, sex, etc.
