can i be fired over a facebook comment?

More details to this question:
i wrote on fb "Hope I make tons of money if I have to be at that shit hole tonight." walked into work they had my fb printed out and said your fired for this comment. i didn't even write the company's name on my post. what ever happened to freedom of speech i think this is wrong and ridiculous to why i got fired.

the NLRB has issued new rulings last friday regarding employee comments. the issue revolves around whether the comments are related to 'working conditions' and whether there were similar to 'comments among co-workers at the water cooler'. if they are, then they are permitted. to whom did you make these comments on facebook ? co-workers ? do you want your job back ? ed dimon, esq.
