Asked on Dec 09th, 2015 on Labor and Employment - New Jersey
More details to this question:
I work in new jersey for the department of public works. I've worked 19 months, the town pays me part time wages, no sick days, vacation , benefits or holidays. The overtone is that if I complain they'll cut my hours. Anything I can do.

Update Your Profile
Your legal rights are dependent upon your status as a part time or full time employee and the number of hours you work. We are seeing more part time workers and work less than eight hours per day or forty hours per week. These workers do not qualify for benefits given to full time workers. I would try to change my status to full time with any employer. Ed Dimon
