How have you been damaged by it? Is he saying you worked less hours than you did? If so report it to the Idaho Department of Labor. If not, how have you been damaged?
Maybe not, but are the time sheets not accurate? if he is reporting your for working less hours then you are actually working, you might want to go to the department of labor or an attorney about not being paid for all hours worked.
As far as I know, you may sue him, but you would have to prove actual damages, such as unpaid wages. It surely will cause you to loose your job. Do you really want to do this?
If your boss is changing your time to reduce the amount you are getting paid, you probably have a claim for unpaid wages under the Fair Labor Standards Act. You should consult an attorney as more information is needed to evaluate your potential claim.
And why was the boss signing you in? Could I as a boss or owner of the business sign an employee in? Of course. But what I'm not getting here is what the consequence was of the signature. Did it get you more money and you and your boss were colluding against the owners of the business to show you are working longer hours than you were? Did you benefit from it? A lot of unanswered questions here. I suspect there's more going on here than your letting on.
