QUESTION

Can I sue my employer?

Asked on Sep 18th, 2020 on Labor and Employment - Texas
More details to this question:
I was recently placed under a mandatory two week quarantine by my doctor because he suspected that I may have contracted COVID-19; during this mandatory quarantine I recieved no sick pay. I was cleared to go back to work after the qaurantine was finished and I provided a doctor's note stating that the quarantine was mandatory and that I was allowed to go back to work; it has been over a month since and I still haven't been put back on the schedule nor have I recieved any sick pay. Can I sue on the grounds of lost wages well as for the pain and suffering I have endured as a result of this situation I have been forced into?

No.  You can't sue your employer under the facts you provided.  You can file for unemployment compensation for those weeks and you should do so.
