QUESTION

Can I sue my employer for wrongful termination?

Asked on Feb 05th, 2019 on Wrongful Termination - New York
More details to this question:
I was terminated due to insufficient work given to me because I could not meet my quota. The manager took my work and gave it to someone else and left me to ask for work to meet the quota. After she took the work I never met the quota. That gave her the go ahead to give me 3 write ups for not meeting the quota for two months

It looks like meeting quota was required for this job. No supervisor needs to like her or his subordinates. But all employees must perform the essential functions of their jobs with or without accommodations. There is no mention of needing accommodations or discrimination. What is the wrongful part if you were "at will" as most employees are?
