Can my employer fire me before I start work?

More details to this question:
I was hired for a job and the next day, they told me they were going with another candidate. I hadn't yet signed any papers, but they had emailed some over. Can they do this?

Yes, but if you believe it was done for an illegal reason then you could file a complaint.

Yes, In GA, that is completely legal, and you have no recourse against them.
