I fell sick on 9/11/20. I went to the Drs on 9/14/20 for covid testing. Was of work since I originally got sick. My Dr said I can return to work 10 days after onset of sickness which she gave me a note to return to work on 9/23/20. My job said no I can't return for two weeks from the date I tested positive for covid which was on 9/19/20. They are making me stay out of work longer than Dr recommends. Dr gave me the ok to go back to work on 9/23/20 but work won't let me go back until 10/03/20 without pay. Is it illegal?
As long as they are paying you and keeping you employed, I don't see how you have been damaged or have a case. The employer can set perameters regarding your employment within reason, particularly if you, like most people, do not have an employment contract.
