Can my work keep me from working because of doctors restriction?

I was wondering if I have a case against my work. I'm pregnant and my doctor wants me on restrictions. My work is telling me that they have a policy that if you have restrictions you cant work there. I asked to see the paper where they have that in writing, they said they don’t have it in writing and its just a policy that they have.
