QUESTION

Changing job description after I clock out.

Asked on Mar 28th, 2015 on Labor and Employment - Ohio
More details to this question:
I work at a restaurant chain as a manager who works as a cook if needed. I was scheduled to work as a manager (and I verified my job with my GM). The next day, I clock back in and it shows that he changed my job from manager to cook, which decreases my pay rate for the hours worked. Is that legal?

You may want to discuss the change in pay because it could just be an error. Regardless, there is nothing illegal about what you described.   Ohio employment lawyer www.mcoffmanlegal.com
