QUESTION

Code of ethics contract

Asked on Oct 05th, 2013 on Employment Contracts - North Carolina
More details to this question:
My employer expects me it intentionally sell product that they promote as being two different products, with "claimed" differences in performance between each. Asking me to knowingly sell something that is not what we claim, can this be a cause of breaking the company code of ethics? If I am expected to uphold their code, so should they, just my opinion, not sure the law would agree.

The company determines what its code of ethics is and also decides what it means.  You have to abide by the company policies, but the company is not required to abide by those policies.
