Deduction wages "retro pay"

More details to this question:
My husband works for Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He accepted the wage they offered when hired. 1 month later HR called and told him they messed up they cant pay him that anymore and it's non-negotiable b/c he works prn. now they have deducted 170.00 the last 2 paychecks to make up for their pay "mistakes". He did not consent to this deduction. Is this Legal??

The only laws regulating pay are minimum wage laws. If he is making at least minimum wage and overtime if applicable, then there is no violation.   Ohio Overtime Attorney: mcoffmanlegal.com
