My doctor has released me after 10 weeks of short term disabilty. My company needs a return to release form submitted before I can re-join. I am salaried and my mgr wont let me go back to work, using the excuse that she has not been notified by our leaves department. The leaves department has been telling me that I have been cleared to go back - I dont know what I should do.
the key is your doctor's written opinion that you can return to 'full duty' at work. the company has no obligation to put you back to work unless it is 'full duty'. ed dimon, esq.
