last Friday with no warning at all I was terminated from my job reason said that I was not getting how to do the orders and registrations correctly, I was never called in by my supervisor to talk about what I was doing wrong if I was doing anything wrong and was told last month I was doing a good job. My colleagues kept telling me I was dong a very good job also. My supervisor never came to my desk to see if I was doing ok and hardly every spoke to me, when I did try to send her messages she never responsed back to me, the way I found out I was going to be terminated was by a memo I saw at the copier machine saying a new Associate Specialist was starting Monday April 30th and on April 27th I was called in at 8:45am and told I was terminated, I started with the company on February 27th of this year.
Unless you have an employment contract providing that termination can only be for cause, or is covered by a union collective bargaining agreement, I don't think there is any claim pursuant to the employment at will doctrine. You should file for unemployment benefits with the Virginia Employment Commission.
