Asked on Jun 05th, 2018 on Labor and Employment - Pennsylvania
More details to this question:
I work at a hospital in western Pennsylvania and have gone to HR about my situation two times in the 5 months I have worked here. I have had people listening to me in the restroom to wash my Hands then posting excessive hand washing signs in the restroom ( 5 of the same photo ). I have been refused help on multiple occasions, told I am lazy and don’t do anything. As well as other situations. Nothing is being done and it is effecting my mental health extremely. I have expressed that I don’t want to come to work. It makes me want to quit. Plesse help with my situation.

I've never heard of someone being teased about hand washing.  Why do you think this is happening?  Are you in there an excessive amount of time?  Why not just ignore it? If they don't get a rise out of you, they'll no longer be entertained and I'd think it would stop.  I certainly don't see any type of claim herre and would not justify you leaving your job or a leave of absence of any kind.
