More details to this question:
My husband has a retaliation charge that is set to go to mediation through the EEOC. He was fired for sexual harrassment, but the allegations were false and used to cover up the fact that he would not put "attractive" female employees in the front of the store when upper management came in, and would not fire exceptional employees who did not meet the beauty standards of the upper management (he was a general manager). I was also named in the sexual harrassment allegations and may have a defamation case of my own. We need to know how much to ask for during mediation, as this affected his professional and personal life deeply, and whether or not I can file my own suit once he settles things through mediation with the EEOC. The sexual harrassment allegations and details had spread through the company the morning he was fired, it was common knowledge to everyone prior to my husband finding out, including the allegations about me.
