QUESTION

How can I remove myself from a non-compete agreement?

Asked on Mar 15th, 2016 on Employment Contracts - Florida
More details to this question:
I entered into a non-compete in 2011. The agreement itself is potentially invalid, as it describes me as an employee, rather than an independent contractor. I resigned on 3/8/16, because of illegal and unethical business practices (tax evasion, etc.). At this time, I want to start my own business doing the same thing in a similar geographic area, all within the law.
