QUESTION

How can I sue for wrongful termination

Asked on Jan 14th, 2014 on Wrongful Termination - Ohio
More details to this question:
I was fired for being accused of stealing along with a fellow co-worker. I have never taken anything from. Have been a very loyal employee for 2 years. He has made me feel uncomfortable there for almost a year, feeling like hes trying to make me quit. He fired me over false accusations. He has no proof what so ever of me taking anything.

Unless you are being discriminated against on the basis of age, race, sex, disability, national origin, religion, etc, you don't have a claim simply because your employer terminated you for a wrong bases. As an at will employment state, an employer can terminate you for any reason or no reason at all. It can't terminate employees for unlawful reasons. Matthew JP Coffman
