QUESTION

How do I get a statement thrown out that was given under duress and by force?

More details to this question:
A co-worker of mine was accused of not ringing up an item at checkout. Because the LP manager had no proof and no legal way to terminate her they used me to get a statement. She had me in the office for 5 hrs., I could not leave, or call anyone. I was threatened with being arrested and losing my job. I could not even write my own statement because I was so hysterical, so she told me word for word what to write and everytime I tried to change it she told me I couldnt put certain things on there. The next day I rewrote my statement (in my own words) and gave 3 copies to all of my managers. Now I am receiving letters from there attorneys trying to recover damages. I have never been in trouble before and I just want to clear my name.

I am not aware of anyway to get such a statement "thrown out."  If any legal proceeding, criminal or civil results from this, you can attempt to explain away the statement as you have here.
