More details to this question:
Both husband and myself worked for the same business. They let us go on the same day wit little to no reason. They wanted me to sign a separation agreement which I refused until they threatened me with not recieving my last paycheck. Same goes for my husband. Is that legal does that void that agreement? Basically want to know how to proceed.

If you signed the agreement under duress, which it appears that you did, it may be voidable.  Contact an attorney to help you.  My firm, www.generalcounsellaw.com has information about the legality of separation/severance agreements on our website.  Contact me at mgreen@gcpc.com with questions.
