My transport company hire OTR CDL driver,after 3 days he quit,damage tire at night,and paid himself,now he is made a claim to Illinois department of labor,that we have to pay,they send me date for court.He left without notification,and made damage for our equipment,he also signed W-9,as individual subcontractor,and he was not employee.Do we have to go to the coud,what could happand?
