is it illegal to make someone work 8+ hours a day without any break?

More details to this question:
have documents that i have been told that i cannot take breaks unless the work flow allows. for at least two days a week for months now i have been workin 9-10 hour days without any breaks. the boos is aware since she has to sign off on this. is this legal? This comany just had a huge law suit against them a couple of years ago about breaks and making people work through them.

Tennessee law requires an employer to provide employees with a 30 minute break whenever they are scheduled to work 6 hours or more, and the break cannot be in the first hour of work.
