Is it legal or illegal for us to be the one to take the deposit to the bank (manager and employee)?

I work for a store and they don’t have a security guard and when we close the store we have to take the deposit to the bank (manager and employee) it’s this legal or illegal? I don’t feel safe what are my options without worry about losing my job?

I know of no reason why this is not legal. I know of no law that addresses this. Generally, this is determined by employer policy, and not by the law.
