More details to this question:
Hi there, my name is Alex and I would like to know if you have any knowledge of labor law. I was an employer on the state of New Jersey back in 2007 and I closed my business one of my employees open a judgement against me for 5500 + 570 for court fees. I never received any notification of this judgement that came from NJ division of work places and apparently they hold their own hearing and they granted the former employee the judgement back in 2008. Now I received a subpoena from the former employee for the unpaid $6000+. The subpoena is 11 pages long that I have to fill out and send back to the plaintiff by Thu 11/13. Please let me know if you can help me in labor cases. Thanks Alex PS: The business was closed. When I call the dept of labor, they said that they granted the plaintiff because my failure to appear on court.... please note that I was never notified.
