Laws regarding back pay

I am exempt salaried employee I was suspended for 20 days I Appealed to board for gross disregard of facts Board is supposed to hear within 10 days but could not and called me back after 13 work days and delayed appeal hearing Board had hearing June 22 and overturned suspension and voted to correct disciplinary action and give me back pay Still have not received back pay because boss says he can't pay me until board minutes are approved which is another month so they will have held back my salary for 6 months I filed appeal March 10 Do I have legal recourse? How can I get my back pay

Not sure what "board" you are talking about. I would suggest you contact the "board" to find out how long it takes for it's ruling to become effective and let it know about the delay in receiving back pay.
