where I work we have been working 10-12 hours a day 7 days a week for almost 2 years now. we get time and a half on Saturday and double time on sunday. if we call off we get wrote up and 3 write ups is fired. is this legal in ohio? we get no sick days but we do get vacation. vacation must be put in in advance and almost always gets denied unless your one of the "chosen" 0nes.

Are you being compensated at least time and a half for every hour you work over 40 per week? If not, your employer may be violating federal and state law. Contact an employment attorney to discuss further.
There are not any constraints on the number of hours an employer can require of you.
