I currently work at a buffet where I make at least minimum wage. We are not allowed to keep our tips or we will be terminated. When first hired in they gave us two choices; one being that I could either make minimum wage with no tips all year long, and the second being I could make waitresses wage with tips all year long. We live in a lowly populated town during the winter so the first choice was the best. But it doesn't feel right that the tips we make, they keep. They claim they pay our wages with it, but they get into it, along with their children, all the time. Is this legal?
