QUESTION

Proving malice in wrongful termination suit

Asked on Mar 16th, 2015 on Wrongful Termination - Ohio
More details to this question:
Complained about working conditions, filed complaint with OSHA. Employer fired me for "poor performance" saying I didn't complete a rush project in 30 minutes. But he waited until the end of the day to fire and just disabled my ID card. So, I went to work the next morning without knowing that I was fired and was turned away. I'm denied unemployment but appeal. The very next week, he lays 4 people off due to lack of work. My unemployment is approved and their findings are that I was really laid off due to lack of work (obviously the people just laid off are filing for unemployment.) Do you think I have enough evidence to prove malice in my wrongful termination suit?

Did you file a complaint for retaliation for filing with OSHA? If not, there is a very strict timeline for doing so. You should contact my office or another employment attorney immediately.   Ohio retaliation attorney www.mcoffmanlegal.com
