More details to this question:
I work as a house manager in CT and my house was just listed for sale and sold. Can I ask my employer for a severance pay? There is no employee book as the sector is private so no mention of it in writing. How much is a fair amount ? Also, will I be eligible in state of CT to receive an unemployment benefits once the severance pay has been paid ? Thank you.
