Should I sign a mutual agreement for termination?

More details to this question:
I was let go and given a mutual agreement to sign. If I sign it they will pay me an extra check and saying that I won't sue. If I sign this would I still be able to claim unemployment sign it says mutual agreement? I'm in Ohio. Thanks.

You need to speak with an attorney. They have offered you an agreement which is also generally known as severance. If you sign the agreement, you are waiving all of your rights to pursue legal action against the company.
