QUESTION

terminated at work for causing "drama"

Asked on Jan 29th, 2013 on Employment Contracts - Kansas
More details to this question:
I was fired from my job recently. A girl I work with was also fired. I guess you can say we were fired over 'social politics'. Basically, I was terminated for causing drama within the dental clinic. By the way, both of us are dental assistants. She was let go for the same reasons almost. We were contractors through Central Care Inc. But worked on Fort Riley Kansas. Basically, all we want is our jobs back and to possibly be paid for the time we have been off. Do you think its worth fighting for our jobs back?

You do not provide any facts that suggest that you might prevail in a lawsuit against your employer. As a general matter, employment in the U.S. is on an "at will" basis, which means that your employment may be terminated at any time for any reason or no reason at all.
