QUESTION

unemployment phone hearing

Asked on Jan 15th, 2015 on Labor and Employment - New Jersey
More details to this question:
I received a notice of determination for overpayment of unemployment benefits. I filed a petition for appeal and have a telephone hearing in 2 wks. Issue was I worked per diem for company and was not always paid bi-weekly, but instead for hours worked. They state I failed to report earnings of 138.42 in June 2012 and $82.28 in Sept. 2012, which was inadvertent. For this per diem job, I worked for 10.5 hours total in June '12 and 4 hours total in Sept. '12. I believe my earnings for the date in question were within the partial credit weekly benefit allowed ($190). Do I have a valid case?
