My employer agree and signed FMLA which was internment basis that started Jan 31,2017. I was employed as exempt status back in March 2015. My employer knew of my medical status before they offered me this position. I have Multiple Sclerosis. During the month of January, I had a set back requiring 3 days of IV steroids to control "flair- up".. At that time my neurologist completed FMLA paperwork to have me work a total of 6 hrs/day- including drive time. I was working in Dillon SC but lived in NC the drive one way is 1 hour. They agreed to FMLA. But I still worked 8 hrs in facility the drive to/from which needed up to be 10hrs. This took place until my termination April 29 2017. My supervisor stated it was due to incorrect time on my time sheet, which it was not, just a disgruntled employee of mine. The company kept over 180 hrs of my PTO and has locked me out of my 401k for 3 yrs. For the past 1 1/2 my boss and I disagreed on everything. I was pushed out of my original hired facility
I do not see a question on this post. It is possible that you have a claim under the FMLA and/or the Americans With Disabilities Act. However, it is impossible to tell without an indepth consultation with you. I encourage you to speak to an employment attorney as soon as possible.
