Asked on Nov 03rd, 2014 on Labor and Employment - Ohio
More details to this question:
I have worked and lived at Value Place hotel in Fairfield Ohio for over a year. I was fired Thursday and told I had to pack my things and leave. I have nowhere to go, I need to find a new job, once I have that done and a steady income I will have no problem leaving. I don't have the money to move or to fix my car. I just want the opportunity do what I need so I can move on.

I'm sorry this has happened to you. Unless you were terminated for an unlawful reason, you likely do not have any legal recourse. One issue that may be worth exploring is how you were compensated (if you worked overtime).   Ohio overtime attorney www.mcoffmanlegal.com
