More details to this question:
I’ve worked with sco family of services for 2 year & have never been in any trouble of any kind. I was suspended for a little over two weeks without a reason why the day after reporting management, a co-worker & my management supervisor to to my managers supervisor boss. my manger supervisor was the one who notified me I was suspended. And refused to talk about why until she came up with a date for me to meet with her & management. I started looking around for attorneys to accompany me to this meeting so I would feel as if I was being ganged up on or made to sign any documents or so on so fourth. I also felt that it was wrong to be suspended the day after I had made a report without a reason why. After the two weeks & a few days passed by I was contacted by the supervisor Who suspended me to meet. She then stated that she was notified I’d be bringing an attorney and that I could not. I told her it was my right to. She notified me 3hrs later I was terminated Effective immediately.

If you belong to a union you have the right for a union representative to accompany you to an interrogation.
Otherwise most employment law matters are not criminal. Were you potentially facing criminal charges you could insist on a criminal defense lawyer.
In other and most employment situations it is at the discretion of the employer. The master servant doctrine lives. They have a duty to pay you. You have a duty to be faithful. And either side can end the relationship without cause unless you are government employed or you are covered by a contract which says the opposite. That's why it's called at will employment.
