What can I do about workman's compensation after my father dies?

More details to this question:
My Father has been fighting with workers comp for a few years now. He Got all the way to the end of the process. The only thing left to do is for the judge to make a phone call to talk with my father saying that you now this is a judgement. they have the copy of the agreement my dad signed agreeing to the terms. Well My Father Passed away and there telling me that they dont have to pay the claim. What can i do!! He left no insurance and We have to make payments for his funeral and i have to come out of pocket with money!

I am curious if the insurance company signed the agreement as well. If so, it is a contract that they can't weasel out of. See if you can find this out.
