Have the co-worker arrested for assault. Then sue both the co-worker and your employer. They are liable for what their employees do at work. But, this will likely cause you to be discharged, which will be completely legal.

You can obviously swear out a warrant for assault. If you have not, suggest you talk to your boss man about the person who assaulted you.

You need to file a claim for worker's compensation benefits that cover temporary disability benefits, ongoing medical treatment and a settlement for permanent disability and future medical care.

Call the police and report the incident to your supervisor. If you were injured you may have a worker's compensation claim against your employer and a tort (personal injury) claim against your co-worker.
