Company policy. Every employee is granted 2 paid sick days. I took mine on a Saturday. went to work that Monday. Clocked in, tried to log into several dispatch boards only to be denied access I started looking for problems within the computer or the internet connections. Only to realize that my name for logging in on the boards were removed. I was shocked to see this and at this point there were no managers around so i asked the owners son to call his dad and see if i was fired and the reply was not that he knew of. So at that point i started asking my co workers if they heard anything about me getting fired and everyone said no. I went outside to smoke with the owners son when i saw the GM sitting at his desk. I asked the owners son to go ask him if he needed to talk to me and his answer was no. 15 min. later the GM came to me and said he did need to talk. that they were letting me go. How demeaning & embarrassing this was after being there for roughly 50 min. What can I do.
