on feb 6th 2017 i couldnt speak halfway through my shift, i called and asked my boss could i go to the er hee let me go but took 50 off my check and im on a set salary. i asked why he said because i was sick which i have a doctors note. I had a coworker who is also on salary was gone for 4 days with her husband being in the hospital he never deducted anything from her check
In order to help you with this question, I need a little more informtation. In addition to be in a "salaried" employee, are you also treated as exempt from overtime pay requirements? In other words, do you get overtime pay when you work more than 40 hours in a single week?
