QUESTION

wrong termination?

Asked on Feb 13th, 2017 on Wrongful Termination - Ohio
More details to this question:
Last Friday I was terminated with no prior warning or counseling (I had been employed for 19 years) I was told that assoc had reported that I had been leaving our café at morning break without paying for my breakfast. I quickly corrected them - telling them I would always go back at lunch time and pay for breakfast and lunch at the same time - thus having only one charge on my account for the day. The café associates knew this and agreed it was ok -as there are other assoc that do this as well. I have been told I am not allowed to see their evidence they say they have, nonetheless, I have submitted to them my bank statements showing that I did in fact pay/charge for my meals.

You should speak with an Ohio employment lawyer. Do you think there is any other reason for your termination? Oftentimes, employers state a reason when they have another motive for employees' termination.   Ohio employment lawyer www.mcoffmanlegal.com
