QUESTION

Wrongful termination??

Asked on Apr 30th, 2015 on Wrongful Termination - Ohio
More details to this question:
I believe I was wrongfully terminated in June 2014. I was put on a pregnancy restriction and was immediately discharged from my position. I collected unemployment, but I believe I deserved more. I was a good nurse there and was only written up one time. Do I even have an ounce of a chance of fighting them for settlement for the amount of stress and everything they caused me? It took me 6 months to find a new job. I worked hard to get a job during those six months. I am still behind financially due to this

It depends on why you were terminated, but if it was because of pregnancy discrimination, then you had 300 days to file a charge of discrimination. The time may have passed and you may be unable to proceed. You should contact an employment attorney who handles pregnancy discrimination cases immediately.   Ohio pregnancy discrimination attorney www.mcoffmanlegal.com
