Arrested with out a Warrant

Asked on May 27th, 2014 on Police Misconduct - Florida
More details to this question:
I was arrested on May 1, 2013. I am currently facing 9 charges of Insurance Fraud. They came to my house, I opened the door. They told me they were investigating a 911 call. I turned and asked my mom if she had called. Then the police barged in without me allowing them threw me head first against the wall and then on the floor. They would not tell me why I was arrested. There was no arrest warrant showed to me, and I have searched and I have not found one. I was injured becuase of this. I could not walk for almost a month and I finally went to Jackson Memorial. I do not have insurance. They did all kinds to test to determine if I was injured internally. The Insurance Fraud division has not answered my calls or letters and IAB refused to investigate. I have a $12,000 medical bil from jackson. I was charged with 9 felony charges based on testimoney of the two other people that were involved in the accident. One was my passenger and the other was the driver of the vehicle that hit me. My bond was 49,000 I had to pay $5,000 in bond. I do not have any more money and my attorney is from the regional concils office. I need an attorney that will represent me on a contingency basis. Pleae let me know if this account has merritt. I would really apreciate your help. Can you recommend someone that might help? Thank you

Lawyers cannot represent criminal defendants on a contingent fee basis. In your situation, I doubt any competent lawyer would take any potential civil case on a contingent fee basis absent an aquital at trial. Obviously, it sounds like some co-conspirators to a "capping" scheme have implicated you and these can be a huge problem in any civil claim of impropriety.
