a Florida State Trooper engaged on pursuit to get me but I was riding a motorcycle and I reached speeds of 182 mph and lost him but he chased me for about 5 miles and he pulled my friend over and told my friend to call me and ask me to come back and if I didn't he was going to arrest my friend, my friend called me and asked me to comeback and I asked to speak with the trooper and he told me that he only wanted to give me a ticket and I came back and he gave us a ticket but he admitted to my friend that he redlined his patrol car (CHARGER) at 150 mph before he pulled him over, and then he gave us tickets for 107 mph, and he said we have to go in front of a judge to set our fine, but he violated several FHP policies according to the manual, and I'm wondering should I fight it so I can get a clean record and no points or what should I do??
LOL....this falls into the legal category of "fat chance". Assuming the cop violated FHP policy left and right, this would do nothing to get you a "clean record", if nothing else under the old adage of 2 wrongs dont make a right. If you are going to challenge this, you will have to spend a gooddeal of money hiring a lawyer to challenge the facts which may support that the cops actions were arbitrary, like 107 mph for both riders which is highly unlikely, and may damage his credibility for "pacing" you by showing he just made up a speed beause youwere going "real fast"
