these cases are 'fact sensitive'. you need to have strong testimony from your son and from other inmates because the officers will support the defendant officer. we have successfully sued the county correctional facility for two deaths. we have successfully sued the police for a third death.  you must also file a 'tort claim notice' within the prescribed period. when did the assault take place ? ed dimon, esq. 732-797-1600 ext 235
