False arrest case

I had a false arrest case. My case was dismissed. I got badly injured. Got a 50 H Hearing , 10/24/2014. Lawyer postponed it for personal reasons. MONTH passed by, I found out that his licence was suspended. I contacted him. After his sweet talk he told me that his friend lawyer could continue, so I agreed. This new lawyer never moved a finger. I called the bar association and ask for help. My lawyer contacted me soon, more excuses, and to avoid trouble I agreed. After 2 weeks he tels me that the comptroller asked him to send a fax to wait.TIME is going by, and also statue of limitations, He told me last time that he faxed a letter requesting another 50-H hearing pursuant to their request. How long does it takes for them to answer the 50-H hearing request? HOW DO I FIND OUT with the controller what is going on. ? What to do in this case?
