More details to this question:
I have been sued by my former divorce lawyer for a claimed unpaid balance. In my defense I believe I have been a victim of fraud due to false statements on his invoice. I have filed an appeal to my local county clerk (Escambia County Court) and currently put an application fee arbitration program of the Florida bar. I am doing so in hopes of a returned dispute fee and refund. If you could, I need help and figuring out what my next steps would be. Do I draft up any legal documents? Do I not go into arbitration without legal consul? I also am in need of a Japanese interpreter to help me convey my correct message (English is my second language). I am having a very difficult problem finding legal representation locally as no one wants to go against another local I assume. While I'm waiting for arbitration, is there any advice I can get? Suggestions for representation (tried looking state wide). Ask the court for extension while waiting? Any advice will help. Thank you.

You will have a difficult time getting any lawyer to take such a case on a contingent fee and the fees expended on a lawyer fighting over a fee dispute lawsuit with another lawyer may be counter-productive. That stated - since you are being sued - you will either have to hire a lawyer to handle that aspect at some expense, or magically become knowledgeable about handling litigation and trial matters, which typically is a severe disadvantage when a lawyer is on the other side.
