QUESTION

A background checking company provided information to a potential employer that was not correct. Is there any recourse available?

More details to this question:
I am concerned this may have also occurred previously. I have the background check company information, as well as the information provided. This has happened to me in the past and I also have documentation that shows the information they provided is not correct.

This is governed under the Fair Credit reporting Act (FCRA) you can contact a lawyer handling such cases o an employment lawyer and they can help you address this issue.
