Am I required to carry ID in New Jersey?

More details to this question:
If I am walking down the street, standing or even videotaping the police without obstructing his work, am I required showing him/her my ID if asked under any circumstances if asked? Do I not have to show it? I was told to ask a state lawyer.

Yes, if the police request, you must produce ID.
